Itinerary
Day 1 – Cape Town
Arriving at Cape Town airport you will be met and transferred to More Quarters where you will spend the next 3 nights on a bed and breakfast basis in a two bedroom luxury apartment. Located centrally in the City Bowl area of Cape Town this is a great place from which to explore the area. If you wish we can arrange for a hire car for the duration of you time in Cape Town and the Winelands to give you more freedom, alternatively we can pre arrange excursions or they can be booked on arrival.
Day 2 and 3 – Cape Town
Spend time relaxing in restaurants, at the beach or exploring the city, the sights and the surrounding cape area. Cape Town has so much to offer in terms of activities that you can choose to fill your time completely or sit back and watch the world go by outside a cafe down on the waterfront or in the city.
Day 4 – Winelands
Today you will be transferred to the Winelands where you will stay between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek at the gorgeous Boschedal Farm in an Orchard Cottage for the following 3 nights on a self catering basis.
Day 5 and 6 – Winelands
The location of this working farm makes it great for getting out into the surrounding winelands, there is plenty to do in the area and on the estate itself including horse riding and walking to nature reserves and bike rides not to mention all the vinyards and wine estates to visit.
Day 7
Today you will be transferred back to Cape Town airport for your flight to Port Elizabeth where you will be met and transferred to the 7,000 hectare Amakhala Game Reserve, here you will stay for the next 4 nights at the lovely little Hlosi Lodge in a family suite on a fully inclusive basis.
Day 8 to 10
A great malaria free safari experience at incredible value, this place is an excellent operation and the family suite is a chance to experience safari all together, especially for those with younger children. The lodge is small and intimate and offers a great first time safari with a chance to see big game, learn and enjoy a private wilderness area.
Day 11
Today it is time to say goodbye and start the journey home, you will be transferred to Port Elizabeth airport for your onward flights.
