Day 1 – Samburu National Park
On arrival in Nairobi you will be met and assisted through customs and immigration by your driver who will transfer you from the international airport across to the domestic airport, here you will take your light aircraft flight to the north of the country and the stunning Samburu National Park.
You will stay the next 4 nights at Saruni Samburu, located just outside the national park this is one of our favourite Kenya properties mixing safari style with luxury and some of the best views on the continent.
Day 2 to 4 – Samburu National Park
Samburu National Park is a great start to your safari, there are incredible landscapes, interesting cultures, good wildlife viewing opportunities and very few other people.
Day 5 – Masai Mara
Today you will be driven back to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight direct to the Masai Mara, flights sometimes make a few stops within the park which gives you incredible views as you fly low over this wilderness area. Your guide who will drive you up to the lovely Saruni Mara, another perfect luxury safari property, will meet you at the Mara North airstrip. You will spend the following 4 nights enjoying stunning views, great safari and lovely food.
Day 6 to 8 – Masai Mara
The camp is located in a private conservancy to the north of the main Masai Mara National Reserve, this is a fantastic location with good wildlife viewing and because it is a private area, far fewer people.
Day 9 – Diani Beach
Today you will say goodbye to the Saruni safari crew and head off for a few days of relaxation. From the Mara North you will fly to Ukunda airstrip in Diani, here you will be met and transferred to the amazingly luxurious Saruni’s Ocean Spa Lodge where you will stay for the next 4 nights on a fully inclusive basis.
Day 10 to 12 – Diani Beach
After a safari there is nothing better than a few days to simply sit back and relax. This property is one of the newest on the Kenya coast as offers some of the highest standards of luxury, service and food.
Every holiday has to come to end and today it is time to start making the journey home.
