Day 7 – Damaraland
Exploring this vast and rewarding area can be done easily independently, it is important to read the roads and the conditions at the time of travel, talk to fellow self drivers about good spots and where they might have seen game, equally pass on what you know, this makes the whole experience both easier and more fun.

This campsite is known for its incredibly productive waterhole that attracts wildlife from far and wide, you may decide to stake out this today after your drive.
Day 9 – Etosha
This is a great area to explore, in the dry season it is far easier to spot wildlife and to predict where it is going to be based on the permanent water sources.
