Itinerary
Day 1 – South Luangwa
On arrival at Lusaka you will continue on to Mfuwe and the South Luangwa, here you will meet your Remote Africa Safaris guide who will drive you to Tafika Camp, this drive takes you through some of the most remote villages in the area and gives you a good glimpse of every day life for local Zambians. Tafika will be your home for the following 3 nights.
Day 2 and 3 – South Luangwa
On safari from Tafika you will visit the northern part of the Nsefu sector, one of the areas of the park with the least number of camps and some of the best game viewing. Here you can walk, drive and go on a fairly unique activity, mountain bike safaris…
Day 4 – North Luangwa
Today you will be taken to the local airstrip, from here you will take a light aircraft to North Luangwa National Park which is home to even fewer tourists and some of the best walking country on the continent. You will stay the next 4 nights at the charmingly rustic Mwaleshi Camp.
Day 5 to 7 – North Luangwa
Time spent walking in this beautiful landscape, learn about the signs, tracks and calls of the wildlife that you are searching for.
Day 8
Today you will fly back to Lusaka for your onward arrangements.

All pricing is given as a guideline, as all our itineraries are tailor made actual costs will depend on dates, passengers and exchange rates as well as any alterations to the itinerary.

POSSIBLE EXTENSIONS
- Lake Malawi “beach” extension – There are a few options of places to stay but by far the best is the idyllic Kaya Mawa on Likoma Island.
- Victoria Falls – If you fancy winding down for a couple of days after safari then this is a good option, as a bonus you get to see one of the seven wonders of the world!
- More safari…. – The South Luangwa combines well the Lower Zambezi or Kafue National Parks in Zambia.
