Tusk and Mane operate amazing experiential safaris between two fly camps in the heart of the Lower Zambezi National Park. The experience is a back to nature wilderness adventure. Game drives and fishing are readily available and completely flexible although we concentrate primarily on walking safaris and canoe safaris. The camps are simple with old style luxury camping, under the stars and around the campfire. The guiding and hosting here is with the owner operators Kyle Branch and Luke Evans who will also be your guides and are two of the best in Zambia.
Fly camping is to experience the African wilderness with as much freedom as possible, following the finest line drawn between a completely wild eco-system and ourselves. These safaris offer a chance to experience the best of the Lower Zambezi from the river to the escarpment. Having no more than eight guests at any stage ensures an intimate safari experience.
The two camps have a different style and feel with Chula Camp tents having a slightly larger footprint and Kutali giving an even more back to nature feel. As of 2019 all tents will have an attached ensuite bathroom. No leaving the tent.
We recommend a minimum 4-night stay with us. 2 nights in each location. At the time of enquiry we will inform you at which location our camp will be. Stays of two nights or less will be in one location , 3 nights we will advice if there is a location change or not.
