This is a really great camp, maybe a bit larger than we would usually use but none the less a very special place, we only wish one thing, that it was inside the park and further away from the main game viewing areas. That said this is one of the most unique camps in northern Tanzania and makes a really interesting stop on a driving circuit.
Each of the 20 tree houses are incredibly spacious with nice touches and an air of luxury. It is often combined with other properties in the same collection in the Ngorongoro area (The Manor) and the Serengeti (Pioneer Camp or Migration Camp) making for a really nice luxury circuit itinerary that can be done either by road or by air.
This is more of a luxury/something different property than having that traditional “mobile” feel to it but we like it and it offers a good standard of guiding, excellent food and atmosphere. This is maybe more of a honeymoon or families property than a hardcore safari enthusiasts camp but we are happy to recommend a stay here.
