Walking Safaris
This is a proper walking camp, there are no driving safaris here and no-one else in the area so if you want to really get away and experience Africa how it was in the early days of safari (with a bit more comfort of course) then this is definitely the place for you.
The camp is run by Remote Africa Safaris who are renowned as one of the best walking safari companies in the country if not Africa. Run by John Coopinger, the approach is quite straight forward, the focus is on the safari, although we do really like a good bush camp and Chikoko is a great example.
Chikoko Tree Camp makes up part of The Chikoko Trails and is combined with Crocodile River Camp and Tafika to make a great walking itinerary in the South Luangwa.
