Itinerary
Day 1 – Lower Zambezi
On arrival in Lusaka you will connect with your onward flight to the Lower Zambezi, you will be met at the airstrip by your guide and be taken to Old Mondoro where you will spend the next 3 nights.
Day 2 and 3 – Lower Zambezi
Old Mondoro offers a range of activities but the highlights here are game drives, canoeing and fishing. Walking safaris are also available but you will be able to do plenty of this on your next stop.
Day 4 – South Luangwa
Today you will head back to the airstrip for your flight to Lusaka where you will continue on to Mfuwe. You will be greeted here by your guide from the Bushcamp Company and transferred to Bilimungwe for 2 nights.
Day 5 – South Luangwa
Activities from Bilimungwe are walking and driving, the camp is located in a remote area in the south of the park with few other people around making it perfect for walking.
Day 6 – South Luangwa
Today you will set off from Bilimungwe and head towards Chamilandu, you can do this by vehicle but a really nice option is to walk between the two camps. Leaving one camp and arriving at another on foot is a great experience. You will spend the following 2 nights at Chamilandu
Day 7 – South Luangwa
Chamilandu is in a really nice setting and is a lovely rustic bushcamp with reed walls, thatched roofs and open at the front to the bush, the chalets are raised on stilts so are completely safe and there is nothing like waking up with the full African vista at the end of your bed.
Day 8
After a last activity you will head back to Mfuwe airport for your flight to Lusaka and your onward connections.
